About

Holman Wealth Management

Comprehensive Financial Planning

We offer complimentary financial planning to every investment client.  Our high-level tools are designed to yield in-depth information.  Our certified financial planner creates an actionable plan from the model data that allows clients to adjust their approach to their key financial issues, which enables them to realize better financial outcomes.

You will receive a 10-15 page financial planning report with "to-dos" to improve your lifestyle.  There is an assessment of whether or not you have enough resources to last throughout your lifetime.  We will go over improvements you can make to put you on the path to reaching your goals, primarily in the areas of cash flow, debt repayment, investment returns, insurance, taxes, and estate issues.

We provide recommendations for improving your workplace retirement accounts, and for optimizing your company benefits package.

We will be monitoring and discussing your plan progress throughout your tenure with us.

Investment Management

Our methods of stock market investing go beyond simplistic asset allocation models that produce below average results.

If our evaluation of the market is positive, and the likely road ahead looks good, we want to take advantage of investments that in our view have the best appreciation potential, seeking opportunistic profits for you.

If in our judgment the markets are risky and showing signs of a correction, we want to take protective actions to protect client assets from erosion.   We may go partially or fully to cash to preserve investor's capital and not give profits back to the market.  Or, we may take other actions to keep you protected and on the growth path to reach your goals.

We want to explain how we go about doing all that.  You could start with a review of our Services tab.  You probably will want to call us or email us - see the Contact tab. You can set up a phone call, an online video meeting or an in-person appointment to discuss how we work for clients.

CFA - Chartered Financial Analyst (or CFA®): The CFA charter is a globally respected, graduate-level investment credential established in 1962 and awarded by CFA Institute — the largest global association of investment professionals. Passing the three six-hour cumulative CFA exams (Levels I, II, III) is a difficult feat that requires extensive study (successful CFA candidates report spending an average 1,000 hours of study to become a CFA). Earning the CFA charter demonstrates mastery of many of the advanced skills needed for investment analysis and decision making in today’s quickly evolving global financial industry.

To earn the CFA charter, candidates must master a broad-based curriculum of investment principles and commit to abide by, and annually reaffirm, their adherence to the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct. The CFA Program curriculum provides a comprehensive framework of knowledge for investment decision making and is firmly grounded in the knowledge and skills used every day in the investment profession. The three levels of the CFA Program test a proficiency with a wide range of fundamental and advanced investment topics, including ethical and professional standards, fixed-income and equity analysis, alternative and derivative investments, economics, financial reporting standards, portfolio management, and wealth planning.

The CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct, enforced through an active professional conduct program, require CFA charter holders to:

  • Place their clients’ interests ahead of their own

  • Maintain independence and objectivity

  • Act with integrity

  • Maintain and improve their professional competence

  • Disclose conflicts of interest and legal matters
