STOCK MARKET RATING (THE BIG PICTURE) …
· Bullish/Bearish Rating: 5 = Bullish (1 - 4 is bearish, 5 is neutral, 5 - 9 is bullish).
· Market/Economic Condition: Normal market, approaching a peaking economy
· Outlook: Reinvesting sidelined cash, optimistic but still wary
I’m returning to a weekly blog – it’s more informative for my readers and a better discipline for me.
I’ve changed my rating to neutral pending more information on Greenland, the Supreme Court decision on Tariffs, Fed interest rate policy, and international tensions with Cuba, China and Iran. While I would like to say I’m bullish, I think caution is the wisest choice.
The Cuba issue may have been addressed by cutting off Venezuelan oil to the island nation. And, there is still the issue of Iran, and what is to be done there. A carrier task force is headed to the area.
Any of the above situations could have a major impact on the markets.
I’ve located two good opportunities if we can get past these issues. I’ve taken small positions to start with. Should things become clearer, I will respond accordingly.
