STOCK MARKET RATING (THE BIG PICTURE) …
Bullish/Bearish Rating: 6.5 = bullish (1 - 4 is bearish, 5 is neutral, 5 - 9 is bullish).
Market/Economic Condition: Normal market, possibly a declining economy
Outlook: Precarious, reinvesting sidelined cash, “negatives” at the doorstep
Our market rating is once again bullish with a slight elevation to a 6.5 score. It’s hard to give anything higher when the economy is giving indications of slowing growth and the ceasefire agreement with Iran is questionable but will be decided within a few days.
We are fully invested and no longer hold bearish positions. Our newest holdings are risk-mitigating investments (in this case, wide-ranging ETFs) that are up 4.9% in three weeks. For a more complete picture of our holdings, please contact us for more information.
Investor focus could be turned toward any one or more of these issues - oil price, gold and silver, crypto, a ceasefire agreement, the strait of Hormuz, Iran possibly cheating on it’s agreements, corporate profits and forecasts of profits, interest rates, and on and on. Markets often climb a wall of worry, so we expect slow weekly progress in upward prices.
